make[3]: *** [s-tm-texi] Error 1

I recently had this error while compiling GCC for MinGW

  1. make[2]: Circular s-tm-texi <- ../../../../build/gcc/src/gcc/doc/tm.texi dependency dropped.
  2. /bin/sh ../../../../build/gcc/src/gcc/../move-if-change tmp-tm.texi tm.texi
  3. make[2]: Leaving directory `/c/buildbot/mingw-w64/mingw32/mingw-x86-x86/build/build/gcc/obj/gcc’
  4. Verify that you have permission to grant a GFDL license for all
  5. new text in tm.texi, then copy it to ../../../../build/gcc/src/gcc/doc/tm.texi.
  6. make[2]: *** [s-tm-texi] Error 1
  7. make[1]: *** [all-gcc] Error 2
  8. make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/buildbot/mingw-w64/mingw32/mingw-x86-x86/build/build/gcc/obj’
  9. make: *** [build/gcc/obj/.bootstrap.compile.marker] Error 2

To solve the problem, I had to copy from the build\gcc\ directory the tm.texi that was located there and copy it to src\gcc\doc\tm.texi
